The double exhibition Theory of Prose, running from January 28 to March 20, at Arsenal Contemporary Art New York, brings together works by artist Lucas Simões and Canadian Maskull. The practices of both artists not only share a kinship with other disciplines, but also the fundamental desire to free themselves from the didactic diffusion of the art world in order to exercise art's ability to alter perception and action.
