Held in an old disabled school and now a house, the installation is composed of living sculptures and sound installation with original creation of Nathalia Mier. Two diagonal organic columns (approx.6m) perish over time, one made with flowers used in funeral ceremonies and the other with local medicinal herbs Throughout the installation terracotta ceramic vases produced by a local artisan, Grasiela Florez, held inside the ancestral and typical Colombian drink, the Masato, made of fermented rice. The installation sound echoes in abandoned and empty rooms a landscape with fragments of speeches about memoirs of resistance to patriarchal violence and resistances of pre-colonial traditions. This project was possible by generosity of Elis Tarazon.
