This work recalls a youth lession. Everytime the artist would get involved in a fight with other children, his mother would take him to the cares of a benzedeira. There, alongside with a rue blessing, he would take some hits from snake plants. These plants represent the warriors Orixás Iansã and Ogum. The artist tells that between the hits that bruised his body, he understood that the burning process of being hit would light in him a search for defense and protection.
