Casa Triângulo, founded in 1988 by Ricardo Trevisan, has established itself as one of the most important contemporary art galleries in Brazil.
The gallery's program is recognized for presenting anthological exhibitions of its established artists, in addition to reveal and consolidate the careers of several young and/or emerging artists. We constantly support them in presenting exhibitions on an institutional scale, reaffirming the gallery as a free and experimental place, conquering a notorious position in the international art scene.
In March 2016, Casa Triângulo inaugurated a new space in Jardins, in São Paulo. The new gallery building, with approximately 500 m2, designed by Metro Arquitetos Associados, has a strong urban presence. The main room extends to the outside of the gallery towards the sidewalk, creating a square next to the external environment, allowing the use of pleasant open air spaces for exhibitions or events.
The architecture has straight lines, like a large suspended box, with translucent planes at the bottom and opaque ones at the top, giving the impression of floating. Contemporary design and materials are in line with the gallery's personality, in perfect harmony between structure and content, architecture and art.
Ricardo Trevisan and Rodrigo Editore celebrated, in 2023, the 35 years of activity of Casa Triângulo!
