TUDO O QUE EU QUERO: ARTISTAS PORTUGUESAS DE 1900 A 2000
CALOUSTE GULBENKIAN MUSEUM, LISBON, PORTUGAL
02.06.2021 - 23.08.2021
Two hundred works by 40 Portuguese artists, including Joana Vasconcelos, which were produced between the beginning of the 20th century and the present day, gather in a large exhibition curated by Helena de Freitas e Bruno Marchand, included in the Cultural Program of the Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
The title of the show, Tudo o que eu quero — Artistas portuguesas de 1900 a 2020, is inspired by Lou Andreas-Salomé, author who developed one of the most remarkable reflections on the place of women in the social, intellectual, sexual and loving space of the the last few centuries, thus placing the selected artists in the spirit of subtlety, affirmation and power.
